Outer Border Finished

I have still been working on ES since my last post. I was determined to finish ALL of the outer border minus the beads that will be added last. :)

Today marks a small milestone for my pregnancy. I am now 16 weeks along and not one problem! I don't count my morning sickness as a problem because I had it just as bad with the other 3 kids. When I was pregnant with Mac at this very moment I was in the hospital being told that my water had broke and I would be having the baby within 72 hours with no hope for survival. So in order of a small celebrations we bought our first purchase of baby gear. :) We bought the little one a bouncer. I just love the color it is, too! Blue and purple:)

I have finally decided on some yarn so I can start on the little one's blanket. I was having a hard time trying to decide exactly on a pattern for the afghan so I just decided to go ahead and use the same one I used with the other kids. When it is finished it should be about 38 inches by 38 inches. Perfect size to throw over the car seat in the fall and winter. :)

The colors are a little darker in the picture than they really are. I just love the color combinations in this yarn!

Have a great weekend!!

Congratulations on getting the border done.

The yarn you bought for the blanket is very pretty. I can't wait to see the pattern you picked out for the blanket.

Congrats on reaching the 16-week milestone! You're almost half way there! :-)

ES is looking great! I'll admit that when I first saw this one, I was kind of indifferent to it...but as it's come along, I really like it! It's a pretty piece.

That is great news! Glad things are moving along with no "surprises". I was always told morning sickness was a sign of a healthy pregnancy.

It was hard to feel good about it in the middle of being in it though. LOL

ES looks fantastic. Congrats on finishing the border! Not much left now. And not such a small milestone for your pregnancy. I think that deserves a little happy dance of its own. I'm glad you're having a healthy pregnancy.
