From Shepherd's Bush
Kit
As a general rule, I don't stitch kits because I usually run out of floss or something like that. I was reminded with this kit as to my rule. I didn't run out of floss but I came real close with the light pink. Also, I like a little more extra fabric on my sides but this particular fabric was the exact size needed....no room for any kind of mistake! Oh well, I am not complaining as I bought this particular kit at a thrift store for $1.50. :)

You got a great deal!!! Those kits are pricey for what you get.
Of course, I just love them and I think I have almost every one. This one is in my stash too, but not started.
You did a great job!
$1.50?! That's quite the bargain!
Your finishing looks great!
Great NR Dawn!
Beautiful needleroll and wow! what a bargain.
Can only dream over here with such items.
It turned out great
Such a great needleroll, Dawn - especially since you accomplished it with children all 'round. :) In a few years they will retreat into their rooms and you'll have to coax them out! No, it's not really quite like that, but they definitely begin to separate from Mom. :D
Wow that is a bargain Dawn and very pretty!
Love your snowman RR. He looks so jolly.
Harvest Witch is looking good. Love the moon:)
What a beautiful finish, I really will have to try to do a needleroll soon as I am so envious everytime I see one done.
Like you I am not a kit person - never enough fabric, often not a fabric I like, and I just prefer to choose my own colours and threads.
No, for $1.50 you can't complain. It's just lovely ;)
It's gorgeous, Dawn! You finished it beautifully.
This is beautiful. I love the colors.
You do such a wonderful job...can't wait to see Harvest Fair with her glow-in-the-dark threads!
Your needleroll is lovely, Dawn! What a bargain too!
Gorgeous needleroll and your snowman looks great too!
