Thank you!

I want to thank each and everyone who left me comments on Bitsy yesterday. This whole situation was quite upsetting because Bitsy wasn't sick. She snuck outside and was attacked by another animal. Unfortunately, her injuries were to severe for her to make it. This whole ordeal has me upset because I should have been a better pet owner and not let her go outside.

Here are is my progress from this weekend on Harvest Witch.

Here is my progress on Snowman and Friends.

I tried to work on Tour last night but the colors are too dark and drab for me right now.

Oh, how sad! I know our Gypsy has gotten out a few times and I always worry about other animals and cars. I know I said it yesterday, but I'm really sorry. You're not a bad pet owner, though. They get out now and then. Cats certainly have a mind of their own.

It is so sad about Bitsy. It doesn't make you a bad pet owner. Sometimes pets sneak out. I'm sure Bitsy would tell you not to blame yourself. ((HUGS))

YOu know how cats love to be outside and sometimes it's hard to see them inside all the time ...

I love your two pieces. I finally bought the stocking book on ebay: couldn't resist anymore !!! lol I was too tempted each time I was reading your blog . I understand it must be hard to stitch the tour after having stitched such bright and happy colors ;)

Oh, poor Bitsy!

We don't have cats (I'm quite allergic), but if we did, I couldn't let them outside. There are lots of roaming neighbor dogs, plus we have some feral cats (meaner than anything!), coyotes, and foxes out here.

Unfortunately no matter how hard we try, they do manage to sneak out on occation. All we can do is try. It does make it especially hard though when something like this happens. However, I'm sure Bitsy would want you to remember all the good times and be happy that you were able to share so much time together.

Harvest Witch and Snowman are both looking great. Hopefully having various projects going will give you some comfort as you work on them.

My condolences on losing Bitsy, Dawn. Don't blame yourself, though. Things happen, pets get out and sometimes the worst can happen. I'm just sorry that she was in your lives for what seems like such a fleeting moment. Remember the joy that she brought to you and your family. *hugs*

I'm so sorry about Bitsy. Please don't think you are a bad pet owner. Cats just naturally want to go outdoors and even if you try to keep an eye on them accidents happen. Sending you lots of {{{{hugs}}}}.
