Every year I have the same complaint....I hate springtime! My number one reason for not liking it is allergies. It is even more of a pain this year since I can't take any allergy medicine. Another reason I don't like springtime is the weather! We had some rough weather last night with hail. Hail scares me...I am always worried that it is going to break a window out. Our lovely weatherman says we are supposed to have this kind of weather for the rest of the week. Yuck!
I worked on my stocking today. I made some progress but it doesn't seem like it because I am stitching white on white. I do have something to share today.:) I made this little box for
Dee. As soon as I saw this snowdrop pattern I thought it would be perfect for her. I got the pattern from the CrossStitcher Feb. 2008 issue and stitched it on some 32 count opalescent linen.
Have a great evening!

What a beautiful little box! I hope the weather cuts you a break and that you don't struggle too much with your allergies this year. At least stitched flowers don't spread pollen all over :)
Thank you again for my lovely little box. I have it sitting on my end table right now so I can admire it.
You did a beautiful job, especially the finishing. June (from Knots in Cotton) and I were joking that if we tried to make the little box we would probably end up with fabric glued to our foreheads.
You don't have any fabric on YOUR forehead, do you?
Love my gift!!!!
What a lovely little box !!! Hope you will go through spring without feeling too miserable ...
Are you sure you can't take allergy meds? My doctors okayed me to take Claritin. You might want to check. Better off to ask and be told no then to suffer! Even though I'm taking my medicine, I'm still having problems, so I can only imagine how much you're suffering!
What a lovely box Dawn. Such a lovely reminder of spring:)
Hope your weather improves soon.
You are just a whiz at boxes, girl friend! I'm sure Dee adores it.
That's a lovely box. Well done!
Ah hail! Sydney is famous for its sudden and horrific hail storms. The last one was the size of golf balls! I don't blame you for not liking hail.
Another sweet little box. :) I've been looking around trying to find little tins to finish with, but they just don't seem common here in Australia. :( It doesn't help that I don't like the mint thingies that usually come in the tins!
What an adorable little box, Dee is a very lucky lady.
That's a cute little box! Aren't allergies a PITA? So far mine haven't flared up yet, but it's only a matter of time. I've been battling with sinus issues... and I'm tired all the time because of it. Yuck. Hope you feel better.
I have bad allergies too, so I can understand! Love the little snowdrop box - how sweet!
Very pretty box. I'm struggling with allergies now too, so I know how you feel
;)
