It's amazing I have been on bed rest for a week and I am still busy! I had another check up today and everything looks great. I gained one pound this week! Yay! That is a grand total of 4 pounds. :( The babies heartbeats were nice and strong. (145 and 160) Since there isn't any problems my next appoinment will be in 2 weeks. However, after that appointment, I will be seeing a new doctor. Dr. H has more experience with twins and and dealing with any complications.

Meanwhile I have been working on the second quilt. I got all the squares cut out, sewn together, and I was ready to add the border. For the border and backing I was going to use pink gingham but when I was at my local wal mart I discovered that they are remodeling the store. To my horror they didn't have any fabric! After I went home and pouted about it, I decided I had enough of the ABC print leftover to use instead of the pink gingham. So now it is all pinned together ready for me to sew.

You might be wondering how do I sew from bed. Well, my sewing machine actually sits on a stand that is the perfect height to move right next to bed. I can't sew for long periods as I tend to hunch over and I am big enough now that my belly gets in the way of some things.

I did manage to work on Mine All Mine last night. That was the first time since the ultrasound I actually picked a needle up! I hope it will be a quiet evening so I can work on him so more tonight. :)

Have a great night everyone!!

This may sound stupid, but how did they not know you were having twins before from the heartbeats? I'm just confused that they can distinguish two hearts now, but couldn't before the ultrasound.

Be patient with the bedrest. This is the time not to be too busy, mama-to-be. It's a good chunk of stitching time(& possibly the last opportunity for a while) . LOL. This time next year your feet won't be touching the ground! I have two puppies (one 14 months & the other 14 weeks). They are keeping me busy enough. Twin human critters need oh so much more attn. Me, I'm now looking forward to grandkids.
