Gifts For Chiloe and Me

Remember how I have said I don't like spring because of the weather? About 4:00 AM a bad storm reared its ugly head and caused part of a tree to fall on the roof over our bedroom. Thankfully, no damage to the house!

However, my day was brightened by Dee. She made me this gorgeous dishcloth! I am totally fascinated with knitting. I can crochet but I have never learned how to knit. Thank you so much Dee!

The last of my blogoversary gifts found it's home. I made this little fob for Chiloe. The design is a freebie from Pam Kellogg called Harvest Pumpkin. I really like how the pumpkin turned out. I have plans to make one for me eventually. :)

Here is the back of the fob.

As for my pregnancy, everything is going great so far. I had a nutrition appointment this week and I was happy with my weight gain but they weren't. I have gained 4 ounces! With the other 3 kids by this time I had lost about 8 pounds because of morning sickness. I got the lecture that I need to gain more weight. Ideally they would like to see a pound a week from now on. Yeah right! For me gaining weight is not an easy thing to do. It's not because I don't eat...I LOVE to eat!

As of today I am 12 weeks along....believe me reaching this point has eased a LOT of my fears about something going wrong.

Have a great weekend!

Not gaining weight: remind me something !!! I gained only 10 lbs for Steb and I was eating A LOT. lol Actually I gained weight after Steb was born because I kept eating like when I was pregnant. I also feared the first 3 months ... couldn't help it ...

Thanks again for the beautiful fob: I really love looking at it. It's so perfect. Was it hard to sew?

I'm glad nothing happen to your house (in Texas, I always hated the tornado season: freaked me out ...)

I'd be glad to lend you a few of my extra pounds for your weigh-in next time. As a matter of fact, you can even KEEP them!!! I'd be GLAD to help.

Glad you liked the washcloth. I truly enjoyed making it for you.

The pumpkin is adorable. I love anything that has to do with October! We have LOTS of pumpkin things around here in the fall!

Gee, I wish I had that kind of weight problem... :-) I've still got about 15 pounds on me from being pregnant with my 18-month-old, not to mention those 5 pounds that I couldn't lose after my now-5-year-old. *sigh*

I love that little pumpkin fob you made for Chiloe! It's so cute!

Congratulations on your earlier Snowman Stocking finish, it turned out gorgeous. I love all the little animals that are on it, they are so cute. Your pumpkin fob turned out very sweet too, what a lovely design, perfect for a fob.

The dishcloth will be wonderful to use. I recently learned to knit and have made two and I love how they feel. What a treat for Dee to send you one. Glad to hear the pregnancy is going well. Good luck with gaining the weight, sure wish I could just give you some of mine as others have suggested.
