Stitching and Kitties

I didn't get as much progress on ES as I had hoped but that is okay a little is better than none.

Mac had a rough day and ended up having to come home early today. It wasn't too bad since he had to go back and have his stitches taken out today. According to Dr. L everything looks great and we don't have to come back for another 2 weeks when they will remove the packing inside the ear canal.

With all that has been going on lately I haven't had time to mention that we have 2 new kitties. A mama cat and her baby showed up about a week before Bitsy passed away. Mac took to the kitten right away and since the kitten is too young to be from her mama we decided to keep both of them. It took me a few days to convince Mama to come in and stay but as of now she is on her little bed with the baby sleeping contently.

As you can see from the scratches on her nose that she had been on her own for awhile. I did manage to give her a bath (with no scratches!) but she bolted outside afterwards and came back even dirtier. The point is she came back which means she trusts us.:)

Have a great weekend!

Cute kitties! Mama Kitty looks like she's had it a bit rough, poor thing. She appears to be happy, though, because it looks like she's "making bread" with her paws.

That baby is just too cute...I'm not really a cat person (don't hate them, I'm just more of a dog person), but I can't resist kittens. :-)

ES is so beautiful. Love how it is progressing.

Mama and kittie are so cute. Thank you for taking in a homeless animal. Don't forget to have her spayed.

I can see why Mac loved the kitty. She's adorable! Hope mama settles in well for you. Looks like she could use a little TLC.

I think Egyptian Sampler looks great - even if you didn't get as many stitches in it as you had hoped. And what a sweet sight to have a mama cat and her kitten! Hope Mac's recovery keeps going so well!!

Sorry Mac had a rough day at school, but it sounds like his ear is doing well which is great. Your ES sampler is looking so pretty. As to just a little progress being made, you're right, little bits add up to bigger bits and then the project is done. Your Snowman update in the previous post looked wonderful as well.

The kitties look so sweet. I'm glad that they found a good home. Hopefully momma cat continues to get used to you and being inside. I think I've seen a dry type shampoo for pets, maybe something like that would help clean her up and the brushing would feel good so she wouldn't mind.
