We spent this afternoon putting up our Christmas tree. I thought we had a tree skirt but when we dug everything out of the closet I couldn't find it or the tinsel. Oh well, I am sure I will have to pick those up next time I go to the store. The kitties didn't even wait till we finished with the tree before trying to bat the ornaments down. My animals work together on destroying the tree every year. The cats are so nice to bat the balls down to the floor where the puppies are waiting for their turn at playing with them.

You have a lovely tree, Dawn. We are still trying to decide on whether to put one up in the new house. We are not sure how the kittens with deal with a big tree as opposed to the two foot tree we had in the condo.:)
Your animals sound hilarious ... I can just picture them planning their tactics for search and destroy ;) Our old cat used to love crawling under the tree and laying among the prezzies - we were lucky, he only ever gently batted at a couple of the balls, and never undertook a fullscale attack ... Hope yours survives the next few weeks before Christmas day :))
I don't even do a tree anymore because of the cat, she is just too ornery to leave it alone. And of course she only bothers them when you are sitting right there watching. LOL Your tree looks lovely, I need to dig out all my Xmas stuff and decorate... :)
