Gift from Allie

First of all, I want to thank everyone for their good wishes with the "twins". Some of you have asked if I am still on bed rest and the answer is yes. This pregnancy is considered "high risk" 1. because of twins and 2. because I already have had one pre-term delivery with Mac. For the time being my doctor is allowing me to sit up in bed for brief periods through out the day. I am thankful for that!!

You would think with having all this "free" time I would have been able to work on something but sadly that isn't the case. I did manage to get the squares cut out for Baby B's quilt. I am using the same fabric as I did for Baby A's except the backing for this one will be pink instead of yellow. However, that is as far as I could go because my sewing machine is in another room! I tried to talk Mike into moving it last night for me but he wouldn't. So I roped my kids into it today. :)

However, Allie has been a busy crafter today! She has been waiting to find out if she was going to have a new brother sister so she could make a blanket. She was tickled to find out she has to make 2 blankets...lol. .

She also picked out her fabrics for me to start on a quilt for her. I just love them!!

Again, thank you for all the wonderful comments on finding out we are expecting twins. I am sure I will bore you to death with my posts about being pregnant with them! :)

Have a good night!

Pretty fabrics!

And now I'm gonna go all Mama on you ...

1. Do what the doctor tells you to do.

2. Rest lots.

3. Keep us up to date on all the baby (and other kid) news!

:-)

The blanket is so pretty, and I love the fabric for the quilt. Be sure and take care of yourself and follow doctor's orders. Make sure having the sewing machine in the room with you isn't a bit too tempting.

I love the fabrics she picked out, too and you will never be a bore. We all love this stuff, so tell us everything, but only if you can do it without sitting up or only during your specified time limits. Have you been told this enough already? Twins sound wonderful and it will all be worth it in the end. We are here for you. CJ
