I actually worked on a WIP yesterday! I have been so busy stitching gifts and exchanges that I have severely neglected my WIP's. Originally I wanted the stitching finished on Mine All Mine by the end of July but I'm not so sure I will make it. Oh well, at long as it is done before December!

I want to thank you for all the sweet comments on Bitsy. Somewhere on my body, there is a sign that says "I am a sucker for strays!" Bitsy is doing lots better, at least she can hobble somewhat without too much pain now. While she isn't too interested in playing yet my floss was sure catching her attention last night...lol!

It is official. The countdown to the first day of school has begun! 27 days (including weekends) until school starts...Yippie! But at the same time, I am not ready. Taking 3 kids shopping for clothes, supplies, haircuts, and all that good stuff is not a fun chore.

Happy Stitching!

Oh dear, why’d you have to bring up school? I am so not ready for it, and you are right it is coming right up! Both of my kids will be in school this year, and I am in denial about it :P Your dragon looks great :) I have been missing out on my big WIP as well, with round robins! I will be finishing up two by the end of the month and then will have more time for my WIP, hope you get more time too.

Your kitty is so so sweet… poor thing. I am glad you are so kind to take it in and care for it.

Mine All Mine is stitching up so quickly. You've made great progress.

I always have mixed emotions about my kids going back to school. The house always feels so empty, but a after a few weeks I enjoy the time by myself ;)

Now that DS is out in the working world and not school it's hard to keep track of "school time". We do however judge our life by "when the kids come back". I live adjacent to a MAJOR state university and traffic gets horrendous the first few weeks when the students get back on campus. We live for Christmas and Summer breaks! LOL

That was a sweet little kitty you took in. Gives me the shudders when I think of her paws being burnt. Mine all mine is looking lovely. I can empathize with about the school stuff-I have three here too. Though I have finished my daughter's school stuff.

That is looking so great, you're going to have it done in plenty of time. So glad Bitsy is doing better, that would have been so hard to see her in pain.
