2 Firsts in One Day

I didn't get to do much stitching yesterday as I was busy all day. In the morning I had to take my mom in for some test on her heart. While I was waiting I worked on Moonlight's Visit.

I thought I was going to be able to work on my SAL with Renee in the afternoon but Megan had completely different plans for me. She learned how to use her knees and hands to crawl! She is quite wobbly at it still but I know she will be a master at that soon. She wore herself out crawling so I laid her down in her crib for a nap and to my shock when she woke up she had pulled herself into a standing position holding on to the side of the crib! Her pulling herself up wasn't just a fluke yesterday because this morning she pulled herself to standing with the help of the couch. I am not ready for her to be crawling let alone walking!

I am a little late in getting my goals for the month posted but better late than never. :)

June Goals:

1. Stitch on QS Fairy Tales-Yes!
2. Stitch/Finish Ornament-Yes!/No-Stitched one yes but didn't get it finished yet.
3. Work on Too Cute SAL-Yes!
4. Stitch/Finish Bumble Fairy-Yes! Finished the stitching but she is currently residing in my WTF pile.

July Goals:

1. Work on QS Fairy Tales.
2. Continue SAL with Renee. (Too Cute to Spook)
3. Work on Moonlight's Visit.
4. Stitch/Finish Ornament.
5. Start on Mike's Christmas stocking.

Happy Stitching!

You are flying with Moonlight's Visit, it is looking great. Megan is reaching some great mile-stones, but isn't it funny how we dread each one, and want our babies too stay 'babies' longer.

Isn't it bizarre how they sometimes skip whole stages? Batten down the hatches!
