Washclothes

I made it through the boxes of yarn yesterday with lots of help from the kitties. That part was a mess but once I was able to take back all the yarn that they stole from me I decided to start off with some wash clothes. They turned out okay...nothing spectacular. I think in the near future I will probably start on an afghan. The worst part is picking out the colors for it! There are so many yummy colors of yarn to choose from.

I'm not sure what I will end up working on today. Lately I have been feeling a little restless when it comes to my crafts. I have been considering trying my hand at quilting but I have to admit I am a little intimidated by it. I have always been fascinated with this hobby. My grandma made us quilts when we were younger and I loved them. However, she passed away before she could teach me and nobody else in my family quilts.
I want to thank everyone for their get well wishes for Mac. He still feels a little yucky but he has been tormenting his sisters so I know he is on his way to to normal.
Have a nice afternoon!

Do you have any relatives with a new baby on the way? I always wanted to make a quilt and made a very small one for my nephew and his wife's new baby. I think you need to get started and find out that it is not so hard. Another possibility is making a doll quilt or a floor quilt for a doll house. Or you could make a small wall hanging. I want to make more quilts, but I have to stop traveling first. :-)

Very cute dishcloths.

Sometimes picking the next project is the hardest part of getting started.

Those are pretty! I've always wanted to learn to crochet and/or knit.

Those are cute little dishcloths. How long does it take you to make one? They look intricate.

I've tried crochet, but I just can't master it. I'll stick to cross stitch, m'thinks.
