SBQ of the Week

Today's SBQ was suggested by Ish and is:

Which project (finished or in progress) are you most proud of? Explain why.

The piece I am most proud of is The Fortunate Traveler by Teresa Wentzler. The reason I am proud of this one was because it had me frustrated so many times to the point of giving up but I didn't. This piece has a little of everything in it full stitches, quarter & half stitches, blended stitches, one over one stitching and two over two stitching, and beading. In the end all the pain was worth it!

What a beautiful stitch! No wonder you're proud of it. I'm still working up the courage to start a Teresa Wentzler.

That is GORGEOUS!

I think a lot of us have faced the challenge of a TW. Thankfully, we both came out successful on the other side.

Lots and lots of work, but SO worth the effort!

It is a stunning piece. I have one of her books with this design in it but I haven't braved enough to try any of them. Well done. xx
