A Little Stitching

I want to thank everyone for their wonderful comments on Megan. :) My stitching time has been severely limited lately. Now I remember why I didn't get a lot accomplished stitching wise when Krissy, Allie, and Mac were little! LOL

I finally added Megan's name to her stocking.

Last month I did finally put in the final stitches on for Topaz Fairie, now I just have to get to the beading!
I have been in the mood for making Christmas ornies....

Last but not least, I did manage to finish Megan's birth sampler. :)

I know lately all I seem to be talking about is Megan but the other kids are keeping me just as busy as she is! The main thing right now is Mac goes in on Nov 18 for his next ear surgery. This time they will be working on both of his ears. :( Dr. L is putting an implant is his left ear so hopefully his hearing will improve. Mac is still having problems at school because of his hearing and it seems like his teachers don't want to acknowledge it. They tell me that he shows no signs of hearing loss but when I take him in for a hearing exam it shows that he can't hear a lot of things. Grrrr!! Mac seems to be looking forward to the surgery this time. I think it is only because he knows he gets out of school for 5-7 days.
I hate making these posts short and quick but that is all that Megan will allow me to do. :)
Have a great day!!

Why don't you ask Mac's doctor a letter explaining his earning loss to the teachers? It's not normal they don't acknoledge his loss ...

You did a lot of stitching during your time away from the computer ;-) You are soooooooo fast at stitching her birth sampler !!! I haven't finished Pierre's ! lol

With 4 kids you must be very busy!!! Hope everything goes well ;-)

That's a lot more than just a "little" stitching! WOW!
All gorgeously done :) HURRAY for you!!

My husband had tympanoplasty twice to improve his hearing....it didn't work for him - but he's an adult.

GOOD LUCK!

Your finishes look great Dawn, I am so pleased to hear that Megan is doing so well, she is gorgeous. Hope Mac's surgery goes well and I thing his teacher needs a hit over the head, fancy not acknowledging that a child has hearing problems especially when the child has had operations in the past.

I love your ornies, but I'm TOTALLY in love with your birth sampler! I wish I would have seen that one when I stitched my sweet granddaughters. We call her our ladybug (I collect them) and that would have been perfect! Yours turned out adorable. TFS!

Lots of stitching lovelies. The stocking is so cute, and I adore the birth sampler, the little ladybugs are so sweet. I'm amazed at all you've managed to get done. Good luck to Mac on his ears, and I'm so glad to hear Megan continues to do well.
