Winter Chair

I have been quietly stitching on the winter chair square for Chris H's RR. I am actually a bit further than this but I was too lazy to take a picture last night.

I plan to work some more on it tonight but I am not sure how much further I will get. I ran out of the floss needed for the back stitching (DMC 3371) and don't you know Hobby Lobby was completely out of that color! I even tried the "stuffy" LNS in my town but I was astonished to learn they did not carry ANY DMC floss. I didn't get to stop and check at my regular LNS because she doesn't open till noon (it was 10:30 AM). I am not getting my hopes up because she doesn't carry a lot of DMC floss in her shop.

I forgot to mention yesterday that Dr. H put me on some acid reflux medicine for the heartburn I am having and I am happy to say after 24 hours I can already tell that it is helping.:) We were hoping that would help my morning sickness but that area still isn't improving. He does have some medicine he wants me to try for morning sickness but I am not sure yet. I never took anything for the other 3 and basically just dealt with it but this time I don't think I will be able to just "deal with it". I will discuss this more with him when I go back in on Monday for a check up.

Other than that, there isn't a lot going on around here this week. I hope your week is more exciting! :)

A LNS that doesn't carry ANY DMC?! That does sound stuffy!

Hope the morning sickness tapers off very soon for you!

Depending on which medication the doctor put you on, you can get savings on refills.

For Prevacid, go to http://www.prevacid.com/offers/beyondtheburn.aspx They will give you up to $25 per refill on out of pocket expenses, so if your insurance covers it, you can still get money back on the co-pay. (Don't let the pharmacy tell you they can't do it. They most certainly can)

For Protonix, go to www.protonixsavings.com They will give you up to $30 back.

We've used the Prevacid one many times for my DH. Wal-Mart gave him a hard time, so we switched to Target and had absolutely no issues using the card. He was just switched to Protonix, so we haven't had the chance to use their rebate program yet, but I am sure it will be fine. If you have any questions, let me know.

My you've been busy posting. Glad you had a lovely visit with your mom, what a great quilt and afghan she brought. The two quilts you finished up look lovely too, and the unicorn is looking so pretty. Glad the heartburn is better, hopefully the morning sickness will get better too. Even if you do get to where you can deal with it, it is still miserable. Nice progress on Winter Chair, hopefully you can get the DMC you need soon.

That's shaping up to be a nice piece of needlework. I love winter-themed pieces anyway.

Isn't it such a relief to get rid of that reflux feeling?

Sorry about the lingering morning sickness. Have you tried the sea sickness arm bands? They weren't a complete cure, but they allowed me to spend at least part of my day vertically.
