Egyptian Sampler

Today is the the first of the year which means a new start for me. :) Actually, I cheated and started working on Egyptian Sampler last night for a little while. Since this pattern has lots of backstitching I will be doing the BS'ing as I go along. Normally, I save it to the end but I have learned from past experiences that TW's are less stressful if I don't save all the BS'ing for the end.

It has been a pretty quiet day around here today. Renee and her kitties left for Texas early this morning. I was sad to see them go but I know they will be back for another visit sometime soon. Mac and Allie went back to sleep after she left but I had to start the battle of cleaning the house. Unfortunately, I don't think that battle will be fully won until the kids go back to school on Jan 7!

Wow, you got quite a bit done. I agree with you on the backstitching. If I had waited until the end on my TW, I think it would have been very confusing to follow.

Best wishes for 2008!

Nice new start! ES is just wonderful, I hope you're enjoying stitching it. I always, always backstitch as I go now. Facing it all at the end is just too much for me.
