I spend most of the afternoon with Mac at the doctor's office today. He has been complaining that his heels hurt when he walks. Since there was no obvious signs of injury Dr. L wanted some x-rays. Dr. L looked at the x-rays and said he thought that Mac had fractured his growth plates but we had to wait for the radiologist to read it for the official word. We should hear from him either tomorrow or Monday.
So, while trying to keep a 9 year old boy off his feet, I worked on Mine All Mine. He has a head finally! I am officially at the halfway point. Yippie!

Poor Mac! What a bummer to have to stay off your feet during summer break! Healing hugs. :)

Your dragon is so adorable! He really loves his pressies:)
Hope Mac is feeling better soon!
What a cute dragon! You are making good progress with him. Hope everything is ok with Mac, at least he's in good spirits!
Wow he is stitching up so fast!
If the pain in his heels are not due to a fracture it could be plantar fascitis (sp) its the inflimation of the ligaments that run from each toe to the heel. When this happens you feel pain in the heel when you walk. Have you tried icing it for a little relief?
Your little dragon is so cute, I love his expression. Hope Mac's heel is better soon, it would be really difficult to get that age to stay off their feet.

Wow, you have made some wonderful progress on this piece!
Wow, look at him grow! I hope that Mac didn't actually fracture anything. Your kiddos are having quite the summer vacation, aren't they?
